Pages created by Freesite are stored only in the URL.
To make changes to an existing page, use the editor.
Remember that changes to the page will alter the URL, so ensure you update the URL in all locations where youโve used it.
Since we process no uploads, the page images must come from an external URL source.
Using royalty-free images from the web:
Access Pixabay
Type a search query
Choose a photo
Right-click on it and select "Copy image address"
Paste the link onto the image URL field
Using your own photos:
Access ImgBB
Click upload
Click "copy link"
Paste the link onto the image URL field
If you need a stable URL or a different domain, use a redirection:
Rent a domain, set up a redirection to point to the URL generated on our platform.
If you update your page, use the new URL as the destination for the redirection.
This allows you to keep using a consistent URL while freely changing the content.
For newsletters or long-term content, share the full Freesite URL.
For changeable links (like posters), consider a redirection to manage updates.
Download a QR code of the page and share it wherever you like.
The QR code contains the page URL which creates the page.
This means that any edits to the presented page will only take effect when you update the QR code to the one represented on the modified page.
The previous QR code will not change and will keep representing the previous version of your page.
If you need editable content linked to the QR code, use a redirection to control the page URL behind the QR code.
This can be achieved by making a QR code for a custom domain that you need to rent from for example Namecheap and then using a redirection from the custom domain onto the Freesite-URL.
Then whenever you make changes to Your page in Freesite, you use the editor to create a new Freesite-URL and replace the previous redirection with that one.
In this way, the users will be always linked to the most updated version of the Freesite page, without the need of receiving a new link / QR.
We store zero data on our servers; all page information is contained within the URL itself.
Our system represents the URL content, but no text, images, or other data is stored or managed by Freesite.
Field labels, these instruction texts and the codes for representing the sites are generally the only content stored to our system.
If you encounter offensive content, please note itโs represented through the URL alone and not stored on our site.
Contact form is the only modal that will upload any content to our platform, storing the content of the title field, content field, email field and the submission data: date and time.
If you find illegal content displayed on our site, remember itโs coming from the URL itself.
We cannot alter content within a URL.
For illegal images, inspect the URLโs structure to locate their source, as our platform doesnโt store any media or data, except for messages through the contact form.
If personal information is shared without consent, please report to officials the URL itself as it contains the shared data.
Our server retains zero client data, generates only a URL, and does not track or store user interactions, except for contact form messages (title, content, email, date and time).
If Your Freesite page suddenly loses it's image/images, that means they've been removed from the original URL you'd fetched them from.
If the image was from your own domain, please re-upload it to the same folder.
If you have no access the the server of the image, you need to find / choose a new image URL and add it to your page with the editor.
After adding a new image URL, please remember to update the page link from everywhere you were using it, including any QR-codes, since only this new link has the new image pointed.
